Rainbow chard is a classic, nostalgic vegetable. A show stopper with its vibrant stems, ranging from yellow, orange, red, pink and white, it adds colour to any meal. Best cooked, this green is reminiscent of spinach. Throw into soups, risotto and sauces for a delicious green addition. The stems can also be eaten and are delicious but generally need more cooking than the leaves. Add them to your dish earlier than the leaves, or seperate them and throw them into soups and stews for an easy way to add nutrition to your meals. Our favourite way to eat the stems is to slice them up, and lightly sautee them until softened and finish them off with soy sauce. They make a fantastic side or garnish to your meals as they retain their colour! Leaves can range in size. Bunch size will always be 200g+.
