Onions, small brown (pearl/pickling)

These brown onions are graded to a small size. They are exactly the same as our larger onions in terms of flavour, but they are best suited to be used for specific dishes. They are great for pickling whole, or peeling and cooking whole ins stews, beef bourguignon, or roasted in the oven. As they are small, they can be time consuming to peel. To speed up the process, you can top and tail, then pour boiling water over to soften the exterior skin and make them easier to peel.
