Mint is a brilliant herb with an evocative smell of summer. It has been used since ancient times and it pairs brilliantly with both savoury dishes and sweet dishes. We grow two types, an egyptiantan round leaved mint, and peppermint This is Egyptian mint, best used for savoury dishes (but not exclusively). It has round leaves and a slightly furry underside. It is strong in taste and you don't need much to elevate your cooking. Mint can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge, or in a glass of water. Pick leaves off the stem to use in your cooking.
