Perpetual Spinach, otherwise known as cooking spinach or Erbette is a delicious cooking green which is a cousin of spinach. Milder in taste than chard, this green has large leaves and thin stems. Perpetual spinach takes the place of true spinach for us during the summer months as it does not flower lose flavour like true spinach does during the hotter months of the year. It is a delicious replacement to true spinach in any cooked dish and does not wilt down nearly as much. It is a favourite of ours, and we in fact prefer it to traditional spinach both in flavour and culinary use! Leaf size may vary. 200g size bunch minimum.
