Please Note: For the first few weeks of our basil harvest, you will receive them packaged in 30g bags. This is because our plants are small and estabishing and we are unable to bunch them like other herbs The herb that always signifies summer. Highly aromatic, slightly sweet taste. Delicious paired with any form of tomato (cooked or raw), made into fresh pesto or shredded on pasta. Stores well in an airtight container in the fridge. Can also place the stems in water to keep fresh. Keep the leaves as dry as possible during storage to avoid the leaves turning brown. It is not recommended to freeze basil as the leaves will turn brown when frozen.
